We are very pleased to announce that three outstanding, high-profile speakers will give presentations this spring at West Springfield High School -- one in March, one in April, and one in May. The events begin at 6:30 p.m., and they are FREE and OPEN to the public! Please join us!
- March 28, 2018 - internationally recognized expert on school crisis, bullying prevention, youth violence, suicide intervention, self-injury, school safety and threat assessment., Dr. Scott Poland, will speak at West Springfield High School at 6:30 p.m. Click here for more info.
- April 12, 2018 - Gold medal-winning paralympian skier, world-class mountain climber, motivational speaker, and founder of One Revolution, Chris Waddell, will address the community at West Springfield High School at 6:30 p.m. (he also will speak to WSHS students during a school assembly). - May 21, 2018 - Former NBA player Chris Herren (The Herren Project; Project Purple) will share his story of addiction and recovery, “Rebound,” at West Springfield High School at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Herren will address grade 8-11 students, at the HS, earlier in the day during a school assembly. The West Springfield CARE Coalition and WSPS invite the community to attend this powerful presentation!
