Goals

We are committed to developing and implementing educational initiatives and strategies to reduce teen alcohol and substance abuse, while enlisting community support to create a culture of accountability and responsibility. This is our shared responsibility we CARE.

The coalition’s efforts will be focused on creating change, launching a carefully¬≠ crafted media campaign, offering community forums and parent/family programs on underage alcohol and substance abuse, and collecting data from youth and parents to increase our effectiveness.

Members

The CARE Coalition is comprised of individuals from all sectors of the community, including municipal, school, youth, law enforcement, business, civic, health care, faith, youth, and social service agencies, local government, media, and parents.

Everyone in the community - including young adults, parents, educators, professionals and people who live, work of attend school in West Springfield - plays an integral role in making West Springfield safer, healthier, and drug-free.
