A note from the Chief of Police
As your Chief of Police I wanted to send a note to all of you.
Parents, I understand that this is a troubling time making ends meet and taking on your new role as a full time educator for your child. This won’t last forever, cherish this time you have with them.
High School Seniors, you are seeing the real world at a young age. Know that we are all so proud of you. Your parents, grandparents, families, and community members alike want to see you reach the finish line. We will get you there together. Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which one has overcome.
Community Members, this is your time to set an example for each other. Do your part to take the orders from the Governor and the Mayor seriously. As a community we have been through uncertain times and we will emerge stronger. We ask you to only leave home for essentials and to take all precautions to stay healthy. You are not just staying healthy for yourself, you are staying healthy for first responders, health care workers, the elderly, and the rest of our residents.
We are one in this fight.
