The West Springfield Fire Department is committed to protecting the lives and property of the people of West Springfield from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents. The Fire Department strives to save lives by providing emergency medical services; preventing fires through prevention and education programs; and providing a work environment that values cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.

The West Springfield Fire Department not only serves the Town in an emergency capacity, they open their doors to residents for a number of community events like the Fire Department Open House. They also work with many other departments to provide education to our residents and our students.
