These timeless stories from snowy lands include the lyrical Grimm’s tale of Snow White and Rose Red, tales of folksy New England escapades and the antics of a truly Funny Snowman! Be prepared to join in and transform a winter’s day into a time of delight.

Animal Adventures: Traveling from Bolton, MA, Animal Adventures will join us for a presentation on different exotic animals you may not see on your everyday Massachusetts nature hike! Come visit (and pet!) a porcupine, kinkajou, an owl, and many more!
Warming Station: Need a break from the cold? Stop by the UNICO Building to get your fill of hot chocolate and popcorn! Warm up, hang out, and get back to the activities when you're done!
Photo Contest: Want to win a prize? Send a picture of you and/or your family at a past West Springfield Winter Carnival! A slideshow of wonderful memories will be projected while visitors walk past, take a look, and vote on their favorites! For more information, rules and regulations, click here.
Animal Craze: Coming all the way from Winchendon, MA, Animal Craze will be bringing their Baby Animal Farm of chicks, ducks, bunnies, goats, plus a piglet and a lamb! Stop by throughout the day to pet some of these furry friends and learn about how to care for them!
Arts and Crafts with Local Organizations: Join Florence Bank, Kiwanis Club, Lions Club, Garden Club, and the Rotary Club for face painting, temporary tattoos, interactive crafting tables, games, and so much more!
Police K-9s: Join the West Springfield Police Department and their wonderful canine friends as they walk around the UNICO Building and educate about the use of Police Dogs!

Town Museum: Opening on a second Saturday in February for this special occassion, the Town Museum will be open to the public during the Winter Carnival. Talk to members of the Historic Commission, learn about West Side history, and see things like local historic artifacts, models of 18th and 19th century town buildings and churches, historical toys, military artifacts from local Civil War soldiers, and artifacts from notable town locations, such as Mittineague Park and the early 1900s Bear Hole Resort!
