The West Springfield Cheerleading Association, sponsored by the West Springfield Park and Recreation Department, is proud to present the 2020 season for all children in grades 3-8.
Youth Cheerleading consists of 3 age groups:
Pee Wees (3rd and 4th Grade)
Juniors (5th and 6th Grade)
Seniors (7th and 8th Grade)
Registration typically will take place middle of April - beginning of May (exact dates will vary). This year, registrations take place from April 16th to May 1st.
Cheer will start at the end of May
Cheer clinics will be held April 13th, 14th, and 15th from 6:00pm-7:30pm in the W.S. High School Gym. We encourage at least one parent whose child is interested in cheering to attend the April 13th clinic with their child, even if your child has done cheerleading before. (see below for more information regarding clinics)
Practices are held Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning in July.
Cheer season follows the West Springfield Suburban Youth Football schedule. Games typically start in September.
