Adventure Quests

The West Springfield Park & Recreation Department will offer weekly themed programming for children ages 6-12 as of September 1, 2026 at the UNICO Building, located in Mittineague Park. With options for 1/2 Day and Full Day weekly programs running Monday - Friday, you can choose which option works best for you and your family. Children will be grouped into small pods according to their age and will be engaged in hands-on activities throughout the day consisting of a mixture of academic, creative, and most importantly, FUN individualized themed projects. Breakfast will be provided to all children. Children who attend Full Day will be provided lunch and have the opportunity to swim. There will be NO off site field trips. Parents will need to provide their own transportation, snacks, and water bottle for their child.

ONLINE:

Online: 

Online registration is the fastest way to register. Registration for West Springfield Residents begins at 8:00AM on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Non-Residents can register beginning at 8:00AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Registrations are put through on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Click here to reach our Online Registration Site
  • Log in with your credentials. Contact the Park & Recreation Office (parkandrec@tows.org) for assistance with your username and password or to get help setting up an account.
  • Choose "Adventure Quest", pick the activity you are interested in, add to cart, and check out. 
  • Continue to the payment screen. This will allow you to use a credit/debit card to pay for your programs. 
  • Complete a Form A and email it back to us at parkandrec@tows.org with a copy of your child's most recent immunization records.
  • Check your email! Approximately 1 week prior to the start of the program, a newsletter will be emailed to you with detailed information regarding the camp.

 

IN-PERSON:

Another option for registration is bringing your paperwork and payment (cash/check ONLY) into the Town Hall. Visit the Park & Recreation Office Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00AM - 4:30PM or during our special office hours on Saturday, March 14, from 8:00AM - 11:00AM. A staff member will assist you. Registration for West Springfield Residents begins at 8:00AM on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Non-Residents can register beginning at 8:00AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Registrations are put through on a first come, first served basis.

  • Complete a Form A and bring it to us with a copy of your child's most recent immunization records.

  • Make checks payable to "Town of West Springfield" or pay in cash. (CASH/CHECK ONLY!)

  • Check your email! Approximately 1 week prior to the start of the program, a newsletter will be emailed to you with detailed information regarding the camp. 

DROP BOX:

Drop Box: 

Using the White Drop Box located on the median outside of the Municipal Office Building is another option for Registration. Registration for West Springfield Residents begins at 8:00AM on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Non-Residents can register beginning at 8:00AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Registrations are put through on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Complete a Form A and bring it to us with a copy of your child's most recent immunization records.
  • Make checks payable to "Town of West Springfield" (CHECKS ONLY in Drop Box!)
  • Write "Park and Recreation Department" on the front of a blank envelope
  • Place in the White Drop Box located outside of the Municipal Office Building at 26 Central St.
  • Check your email! Approximately 1 week prior to the start of the program, a newsletter will be emailed to you with detailed information regarding the camp.

 

MAIL-IN:

Mail-in is the final option on how to register. Registration for West Springfield Residents begins at 8:00AM on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Non-Residents can register beginning at 8:00AM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Registrations are put through on a first-come, first-served basis.
