Information Ahead Of 2025 Municipal Election

West Springfield, MA: The Town of West Springfield is reminding residents that the 2025 Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and residents who were registered to vote by the October 25, 2024 deadline are eligible to participate.
The ballot will include the offices of Mayor, Town Council, and School Committee, along with sixteen questions proposing amendments to the West Springfield Home Rule Charter. Additional information about the candidates and proposed Charter changes can be found at tinyurl.com/wselectioninfo2025.
There will be two polling locations on November 4. The West Springfield Senior Center, located at 128 Park Street, will serve voters in Precincts 1 and 2. West Springfield High School, located at 425 Piper Road, will serve voters in Precincts 3 through 8. Residents who are unsure of their precinct or polling place can verify this information at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/WhereDoIVoteMA.
The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot has passed; however, voters who have already received a ballot still have several options to return it. Ballots may be returned in person to the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours, by mail through the U.S. Postal Service using prepaid postage, or by depositing them in the Town Clerk’s secure dropbox. The dropbox is a white and blue mailbox located in the lobby of Town Hall and is accessible 24 hours a day. All vote-by-mail ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on November 4 in order to be counted. Ballots received after that time cannot be processed.
Early voting began on Monday, October 27 at the West Springfield Public Library, located at 200 Park Street, and will conclude on Friday, October 31, at 4:30 p.m.
