West Springfield Clinches Third Straight “Best Town/City to Live In”

West Springfield, MA:  The Town of West Springfield is proud to announce that it has been honored with MassLive’s coveted 2026 Reader Raves award for Best Town/City to Live In, marking its third consecutive victory in this category.

The Reader Raves program is an annual celebration of the communities, businesses, nonprofits, and institutions that residents across Western Massachusetts hold most dear. Winners are chosen entirely by public vote, making the recognition a true reflection of community pride and support.

“We are deeply honored,” said Mayor Will Reichelt. “To be recognized for the third year in a row by our residents and neighbors speaks volumes about the strength, spirit, and collective pride of our community.”

West Springfield previously earned the top honor in 2024 and 2025, and now, with its 2026 win, has solidified its standing as a community of choice in Western Massachusetts. Town leaders credit the recognition to the dedication of residents, the vibrancy of local businesses, the professionalism of town staff, and the many organizations that contribute to the quality of life in West Springfield.
