The Town of West Springfield is a member of the Common Ground Health Collaborative (CGHC), a Public Health Excellence shared services arrangement comprising the Boards of Health and Health Departments in Agawam, East Longmeadow, Westfield, and West Springfield.
During its monthly meetings, CGHC implements regional programming, shares information and resources, develops policies, and manages shared services. The coalition also works together on public health initiatives, including but not limited to inspectional services and health education programming.
CGHC meetings are generally held at 10 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month via Zoom. All meetings are open to the public, and all residents of participating communities are welcome to attend. Monthly meeting agendas will be posted on the East Longmeadow website Agenda Center 48 hours before CGHC meetings.
