Cooks Skate Park

The Town of West Springfield received $200,000 through an FY21 state earmark under the Office of Energy & Environmental Affairs, Conservation and Recreation secured by former Senator James Welch in 2020.

The funding allocated was to renovate the Cooks Skate Park (Balise Skate). The Town of West Springfield signed a contract with Rampage Skatepark Equipment, 1625 Railroad Ave, Bridgeport, CT www.skateparkramps.com, and the grand opening of the Skate Park was September 8, 2021.
