Public Notice: Fiscal Year 2027 Property Revaluation & Disclosure

In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 56, the Town of West Springfield Board of Assessors has completed a comprehensive revaluation of all real and personal property across the community. Preliminary certification for Fiscal Year 2027 is currently pending review by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.

Town-Wide Cross Connection Control Surveys

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA — The Town of West Springfield Department of Public Works (DPW) Water Division has officially contracted with Water Safety Services, a regional firm specializing in cross connection control, to conduct site surveys across all non-residential properties within the town starting in October 2026.

Reduction Of Mandatory Water Use Restrictions

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA — The Mayor has officially reduced the Town’s mandatory Water Use Restriction from a Level 2 down to a Level 1, effective Friday, September 11, 2026. This adjustment remains in effect until the state Secretary of Energy & Environmental Affairs changes the regional drought declaration.
